  1. Dec 20 HB1633 Workers' Compensation Act - occupational disease (effective immediately)

Jun 24 SB801 Workers' Compensation Act - omnibus amendments (effective IMMEDIATELY WITH EXCEPTIONS) - Note: This is the bill that Governor Ridge and the Republican dominated legislature passed during the night with no public debate.  This bill was devastating to injured workers.  At the time this bill was passed Governor Rendell was Mayor of Philadelphia and he came to Harrisburg to help lobby for the bill to be passed.
